Transformers and Rectifiers jumps 3.96% after securing a Rs 100 crore order from Damodar Valley Corporation

Transformers & Rectifiers India Ltd. is up 3.96% to Rs 280.8 today, building on recent momentum that includes a 0.14% gain over the last week.

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited announced it has received an order from Damodar Valley Corporation for the manufacturing and supply of 500MVA and 200 MVA Auto Transformers and related work, with a delivery schedule spanning 15 to 28 months, classifying as a "Large Order" valued up to Rs 100 Cr as per the company’s policy. The order, awarded by a domestic entity, falls within the normal course of business and does not constitute a related party transaction, and the company’s promoters and group companies have no interest in Damodar Valley Corporation.

Transformers & Rectifiers India Ltd. shares saw a trading volume of 572.8 lakh today, representing a significant increase of 8408.17% compared to the average volume over the past week. Transformers & Rectifiers India Ltd. experienced a sharp decline of 42.75% year-over-year, underperforming the NIFTY50 index’s loss of 9.72%.
