GK Energy Limited secures Rs 454.50 crore contract for 100 MW rooftop solar project with a state utility

GK Energy Limited has been awarded a Letter of Empanelment by a State Government-owned power distribution utility for the execution of Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic Projects, securing a contract valued at approximately Rs 454.50 crore including GST. The project involves the installation of 100 MW of solar capacity across 1,00,000 households, with a contract rate of Rs 45,450 per kW, and includes design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and operations & maintenance for five years. The company will execute the project within 60 days from the issuance of respective work orders.
