Transformers and Rectifiers (India) jumps 3.03% after securing Rs 100 crore order from APTRANSCO

Transformers & Rectifiers India Ltd. is up 3.03% to Rs 300.85, extending recent gains and adding to a 1.02% increase over the last week. Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited announced it has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited (APTRANSCO) for the manufacturing of transformers and related work, with a project value classified as a “Large Order” up to Rs 100 Cr, to be executed within the next 13 months. The order falls within the normal course of business and does not constitute a related party transaction, according to a filing on August 14, 2026. Transformers & Rectifiers India Ltd. shares saw a trading volume of 22.63 lakh today, representing a significant increase of 116.55% over the average volume of the past week. Transformers & Rectifiers India Ltd. has declined by 40.51% year-over-year, underperforming the NIFTY50 index's loss of 0.91%.
