Quick Wrap: Nifty Metal Index rises 2.63%

Nifty Metal index closed up 2.63% at 10536.45 today. The index is down 0.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Hindustan Zinc Ltd gained 7.46%, Hindustan Copper Ltd added 7.07% and National Aluminium Company Ltd jumped 5.24%. The Nifty Metal index is up 11.00% over last one year compared to the 6.10% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Commodities index added 1.62% and Nifty Realty index added 1.53% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 added 0.57% to close at 26046.95 while the SENSEX added 0.53% to close at 85267.66 today.
