Quick Wrap: Nifty PSE Index records a surge of 1.81%

Nifty PSE index ended up 1.81% at 9958.75 today. The index has added 5.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd jumped 8.86%, Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd gained 6.43% and Container Corporation Of India Ltd rose 5.83%. The Nifty PSE index has decreased 2.00% over last one year compared to the 11.68% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Realty index increased 1.63% and Nifty Media index added 1.11% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 is down 0.17% to close at 25019.8 while the SENSEX has declined 0.24% to close at 82330.59 today.
