Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index registers a drop of 1.83%

Nifty Realty index closed down 1.83% at 800.15 today. The index has lost 7.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Brigade Enterprises Ltd fell 2.66%, Macrotech Developers Ltd dropped 2.45% and Godrej Properties Ltd slipped 2.43%. The Nifty Realty index has decreased 3.00% over last one year compared to the 1.82% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Media index has slid 1.50% and Nifty Auto index has slid 1.10% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has slid 0.33% to close at 22397.2 while the SENSEX has declined 0.27% to close at 73828.91 today.
