Vikran Engineering secures Rs 2,941 crore loan from IREDA for Maharashtra solar project

Vikran Engineering Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, NOPL Solar Projects Private Limited, entered into a facility agreement with Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) for a rupee term loan facility of up to Rs 2,941.19 crore to part finance a 969 MWac / 1,163 MWp solar photovoltaic power project in Maharashtra, with an estimated project cost of Rs 4,201.70 crore. The agreement finalizes financing arrangements for an EPC contract awarded to Vikran Engineering Limited for the 969 MW solar power project, valued at Rs 3,517.98 crore.
