Punjab Communications Limited names Dr. Basant Garg Director-cum-Chairman, effective October 1, 2026

Punjab Communications Limited announced that Dr. Basant Garg, IAS, has been appointed as Director-cum-Chairman of the company’s board, effective October 1, 2026, replacing Gurkirat Kirpal Singh, IAS, who ceased to hold the position also effective October 1, 2026. The appointment was made following a nomination by Punjab Information and Communication Technology Corporation Ltd., the holding company, and was approved by the board via resolution on October 12, 2026.
