NHPC's Bhupender Gupta extends SJVN leadership role for six months, per Ministry of Power

SJVN Limited announced that the Ministry of Power has extended the additional charge of the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) to Shri Bhupender Gupta, CMD of NHPC Limited, with effect from August 01, 2026, for a period of six months or until a regular incumbent is appointed, whichever is earlier. Bhupender Gupta previously assumed the additional charge on May 01, 2025, and also holds the position of Chairman & Managing Director of NHPC Limited since September 04, 2025.
