Classic Filaments Limited acquires 51% stake in Procasts Engineering for Rs 12 crore

Classic Filaments Limited announced the completion of its acquisition of 51% of the equity shares of Procasts Engineering Private Limited, making it a subsidiary company, according to a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange on Saturday. The acquisition, completed on September 1, 2026, involved a cash consideration of Rs 12,00,24,847.50, and the company noted that the promoters of both entities share common interests, with the transaction occurring at arm’s length. Additionally, Classic Filaments appointed Narendra Singh Negi as the company’s Internal Auditor for the financial year 2026-2027.
