Sudarshan Chemical’s German unit sells VP4 Frankfurt GmbH to Celanese for EUR 76.5 million

Sudarshan Chemical Industries Limited announced that its Step-Down Wholly-Owned Subsidiary, Sudarshan Germany Horizons GmbH, signed a definitive agreement on August 31, 2026, to sell 100% of VP4 Frankfurt GmbH to Celanese US Holdings LLC for EUR 76,500,000. VP4 Frankfurt, another Wholly-Owned Subsidiary of Sudarshan Germany Horizons, primarily manufactures intermediates and the sale is intended to sharpen the company’s focus on its core pigment business; VP4 Frankfurt contributed revenue of EUR 15,722,521, representing 6.71% of Sudarshan’s standalone revenue and 1.64% of its consolidated revenue in the last financial year.
