Cipla’s Aspergen joint venture acquires 100% stake in Aspergen Inc., USA

Cipla Ltd. announced that Aspergen Limited, a 60:40 joint venture with Kemwell Biopharma Private Limited, has acquired 100% stake in Aspergen Inc., USA, from Cipla (EU) Limited and Kemwell Biopharma UK Limited, making Aspergen Inc., USA a wholly owned subsidiary of Aspergen Limited, India; the restructuring was undertaken to rationalize and simplify the group structure and results in no change to Cipla’s economic interest in Aspergen Inc., USA.
