Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index records a surge of 1.75%

Nifty Realty index ended up 1.75% at 993.1 today. The index has added 16.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Sobha Ltd rose 5.69%, Brigade Enterprises Ltd gained 3.97% and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd added 2.81%. The Nifty Realty index has decreased 1.00% over last one year compared to the 9.42% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Pharma index increased 1.28% and Nifty Metal index added 0.59% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 added 0.53% to close at 24750.9 while the SENSEX increased 0.55% to close at 81442.04 today.
