Overall tally of Dmat accounts hits 20.5 crore in India

SEBI stated in a latest monthly update in August 2025, 4 lakh new demat accounts were added with NSDL, while 21 lakh new accounts were added with CDSL. At the end of August 2025, overall tally of demat accounts stood at 20.5 crore.
